Keeping Classic Rally Alive
A Rally Cars History and Home is Dancing on the Dirt
What better way to preserve history than to keep adding to it. Our Monaro was built as a rally car and has a Legacy of over 200 events. Converting her to a street car would destroy the Legacy, we could not do that.
Instead we aim to showcase the Legend of the Monaro Rally Cars in suitable events where all can experience and celebrate these Iconic Cars and Events that created the Legends.
Family and Friends Team
Three Generations of Dimechs and Good Mates Old and New
The Dimech Brothers are supported by Three Generations. Pa and Mem Dimech who tend to do the parts fetching and experience sharing. Grown kids in the Service Crew changing tires and helping with checks and repairs.
Our younger Brother who tends to oversee that everything else comes together as needed. Add in some good Mates New and Old you have a typical Grass Roots Family Rally Team.
The Monaro is the "Camp Fire" that Friends and Family gather around. Strangers are drawn to her, Memories are refreshed and New Memories made. Work, Laugh and Learn together. This is Classic Rally.

Become an Official
Neil and Luke both Official when they can. It takes an army of Officials to put on an event and it is so rewarding to be part of an event. It is really easy with some online training with many jobs only needing basic instructions to do really well. You also get some of the best seats in the house for a great day out while helping out.
Get Out and Spectate
Spectating Rally is an Adventure in itself. Obviously you get to see and hear amazing cars in action on the stage which is the draw card. Everyone goes home with some cool snaps their friends won’t believe.
You also have an adventure visiting small towns, supporting local small businesses (I love a Country Bakery) and seeing some of our wonderful country. The service area is open to all, get up close to the crews and service teams you may even get handed a spanner.

Shannons Rally of the Heartland 2025
2024 caught us out with steering failure and a roll. We came back with an amazing pillar rebuild and full body refresh so our goal in 2025 had to be to finish with the Monaro nice and straight.
Ken Cusack - Grandpa Duke
Ken Cusack has competed in over 200 rally events in the Monaro, normally squeezing 10-15 events in a year over the decades. Kens history in Monaro Rally Adventures will never be topped.
